@sarahrosnawati these responses are gold

@baworbeye I think moderating a question you don’t want to answer is horrible and they could bring out some light, some medium and some darker shades to be inclusive a small range doesn’t have to be all shades that work for white people

@baworbeye

@loulou11711 true...I guess that's not unreasonable

Melissa D @melimelon67

@baworbeye true but people aren't expecting 100 or even 50 shades from these brands they want a balance of fair,light, medium, dark and deep shades. So even 10 shades is ok as long as it's equal

@baworbeye

@melimelon67 didn't they just release 20 shades...just trying to be unbiased here and give everyone a shot...as much as I love tea sometimes I think this page makes an issue over nothing...

Melissa D @melimelon67

@baworbeye what's the name of the product, is it a different one from this? I can't seem to find it

@baworbeye

@melimelon67 I just googled it. Selfie Skin 2 in 1. Check I think they're flooding their socials right now. Looks interesting. @meccamax

That obviously have something to be ashamed of. Nothing wrong with not catering for all skin tones I only have one face and can only have so much foundation so I don’t need every brand to cater to me. However, you need to be transparent, confident in your brand vision and frankly don’t act like wimp.

@loulou11711 Being inclusive is more than just releasing darker shades. You need to understand the undertones and our complexion range which is huge. And to do that you would probably need a member of staff with dark skin tone. Which a lot brands including Mecca probably don’t have. To be honest I wouldn’t buy their foundation.

Louise Charlotte @loulou11711

@brownbeautytalk absolutely, I still struggle to understand my own under tones and what works well on my skin and why! I wouldn’t but their products either.

@evelyn.zh oh my goodness😩 this is BAD

Evelyn @evelyn.zh

@alicelam_10 but was it an accident 🤔

@alicelam_10

@evelyn.zh yeah they running thru on the whole were ethical so I reckon they did it to avoid backlash but 👽👽 facts they only got 6 light shades of their first foundation HAHAHA

Christopher Drummond @cdbeautynyc

Come on. So many companies do this to this day. When I started in the makeup industry, most makeup was made for white people only. It's still true. You would think in this day and age companies would get the clue. Well, I decided to create my own line to fill the void! Problem solved!!!!

@alicelam_10

@evelyn.zh I doubt it 😂

You have one of the good profiles I’ve seen today 👌😸
